Brooks, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, Wednesday, prior to the service.  Interment, Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery,400 Murchison Road, Spring Lake.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the funeral home. 

Survivors; husband, William Mack King of the home; daughters, Barbara Hockaday (Frankie) of Rocky Mount and Dewanda G. Hayes of Knightdale; brothers, Roy Burt Jr. of Hillsborough and William Burt (Thalia) of New Bern; sisters, Marilyn Lucas (Marion) of Willow Springs, Carolyn Burt, Phyllis Burt and Beatrice Burt all of Raleigh; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
