Ms. Taliyah Lanis Watson, age 19, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Funeral, 1 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor.  The Rev. Tracy J. Bell, Pastor, New Bethel Christian Church, Raleigh, Officiating and Eulogist.  Visitation, 12:30 PM to 1 PM, prior to the service.  Interment, Poplar Springs Church Cemetery, Raleigh.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; parents, Gloria Watson and Tavares Carter; siblings, Javion, Treyvion, Tavares Jr., Nasir, Daries, Ariel, Zachary, Lashonda, Markell, Darius, Aaliyah, Rashaud, Rashonda and Bryshawn; maternal grandparents, Tonia Bagley; paternal grandparents, Blair and Denise Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
