Ms. Sharon Denise "Flute" Crews Thompson, age 57, of Raleigh, departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center, Wilmington.
Funeral, 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Progressive Baptist Church, 2504 Creech Road, Raleigh. Rev. Dr. Robert C. Walker-Smith, Pastor. Pastor Lacretia Thomas, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12:00 Noon prior to the service at the Church. Public viewing, Friday, May 22, 2026, 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors; mother, Evangeline Winston Crews; siblings, Charlene E. Crews-Williams (James), Timothy L. Crews, Linda M. Crews and Tammy R. Crews; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 207 Kennedy Street, Raleigh.
