Ms. Orries J. Foster, age 77, of Raleigh, departed this life on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. 

Funeral, 1 PM, Sunday, February 14, 2021, Lincoln Park Holiness Church.  Overseer William Eli Ratcliff, Pastor, Officiating. The service will be broadcast via Zoom; https://us02webzoom.us/j/7191824623. 

Visitation, 12:30 - 1 PM, prior to the service.

*The outpouring of love has been overwhelming.  We are grateful for each expression of kindness.  We want you and our family to remain safe during this unprecedented season; therefore, during the public viewing at the funeral home, the visitation and funeral service, please wear your masks and  participate in social distancing.  Instead of hugs, kisses and handshakes, we ask that everyone offer up a wave greeting as you help us celebrate the life of our loved one.  Thank you one and all.   

Interment, 10 AM, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Mt. Hope Cemetery. 

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the funeral home.  

She was preceded in death by Leon Jones, the father of her children.  

Survivors; daughters, Arleen Judd of Raleigh, Cynthia Taylor of Clayton, Royleta Foster of East Orange, NJ, Lashiya Foster of Greensboro, Jane'sa Hinton of Wake Forest; sons; Leon Foster and Taurrus Foster (Nicole) both of Raleigh; sisters, Dorothy Jean McLean (Joe) of Raleigh and Linda Cheryl Foster of Peoria, IL; special cousins, Rosa Jean Dingles of Herndon, VA and Alteen Horton (Harvey) of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Curtis Gill, the father of one of her children.  

The family will receive friends at 280 Norwich Dr., Clayton.
