Funeral, 2 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. Joseph R. Rogers, Officiating. Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2 PM prior to the service. Public Viewing,12 Noon to 8 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
Survivors: Dana Carter, Loretta Carter, Mary C. Rumley, Shirlene Carter; Sister-In-Law' Melinda Carter; Grandchildren, NeNe and Dedee Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
