Ms. Jacqueline Williette "Jackie" Sloan

Ms. Jacqueline Williette "Jackie" Sloan, age 61, affectionately known as “Jackie,” was born to Judy Williams Sloan and Willie D.M. Sloan on March 4, 1960.

Graveside, 2 PM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Rand Street Christian Church Cemetery, 213 Haywood Street, Garner.  The Rev. Harold Nance, Officiating.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Monday, September 6, 2021 at the funeral home.  

"Jackie" was a graduate of Westside High School.  She also attended Friendship College in Rock Hill, SC.  After her brief time at Friendship, she went on to become a Shaw Bear.  She was very proud to be a Shaw Bear and always supported her team(s).  She went to games when she really didn’t feel like going. 

"Jackie" was preceded in death by; her parents and her sister, Janet S. Greer and her nephew, Keenan Sloan and her aunt and uncle, Emma and Cary Boyd.

“Jackie” leaves to cherish very fond memories; sister, Miriam "Robin" Sloan of Anderson, SC; brothers, Kenneth "Ricky" Sloan of Atlanta, GA, Perry D. Sloan (Shemika) of Raleigh and Brian Kelly Sloan (Lara) of Belton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1206 Robinson Avenue, Raleigh.
