Ms. Henrietta Laverne Cooke, age, 59, of Clayton, departed this life on Friday, May 5, 2023. 

Funeral, 12 Noon, Thursday, May 11, 2023, Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service. Interment, Church Cemetery.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; sister, Tina Holland; brothers, Tony Cooke and Jamel Cooke; an aunt, Marie Adams Taylor (Bobby); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including a special, beloved niece/"daughter," Octavia Holland and special friends, Vince Chandler, Sylvia Miles, Denise Isabella, and Sherry Gilbert Gist. 

The family will receive friends at 259 Carbone Lane, Clayton.
