Ms. Freda Devon O'Neal

Ms. Freda Devon O'Neal, age 59, of Raleigh, departed this life on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

Funeral, 11 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2025, St. Paul AME Church, 402 W. Edenton Street, Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. Larry D. McDonald Sr., Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service.  Interment, O'Neal Cemetery on Richardson Road, Zebulon.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, July 11, 2025 at the funeral home with members of the family present from 5 PM until 8 PM. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: her one and only child, Danielle Justina Pope of Raleigh, NC; mother, Shirley W. O’Neal of Zebulon, NC; brother, Earl O’Neal of Zebulon, NC; sisters, Delois O’Neal of Zebulon, NC and Shelia Harris (Troy) of Wendell, NC; aunts, Grace O’Neal of Zebulon, NC and Constance Ferguson (Joe) of Greensboro, NC; uncle, Marvin Wiggs (Lanette) of Durham, NC; her first cousins who grew up as sisters and brothers; bonus children gained through Danielle’s friendships; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 7831 Cheaha Drive, Apt. 4107, Raleigh.
