Ms. Doris Leigh Cannon, age 85, of Raleigh, departed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Funeral, 12 Noon, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Springfield Baptist Church, 4309 Auburn Knightdale Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Kevin Sturdivant, Pastor. The Rev. Dr. G. A. Jones, Jr., Pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Raleigh, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the Service. Public Viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the funeral home.
Survivors: daughter, Angela Sanders (Cleveland); 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Edith Faye Lane, Michael Cannon and Donald Cannon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Connie Baker (Abdul).
The family will receive friends at 3305 Derbyshire Place, Raleigh.
