Ms. Debra Faye Newkirk Adams, age 63, of Raleigh, departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Funeral, 2 PM, Monday, November 20, 2023, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2 PM, prior to the service. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the funeral home.

Survivors; daughter, Lekesha Shonta Newkirk; granddaughter, Dasia Mitchell; mother, Rosa Newkirk Farley; siblings, Angela D. Crowder, Sheila M. Pulley (Percy), Donna M. Newkirk (Jerry Woodard) and Sharon D. Newkirk; a nephew, Anthony Newkirk; a niece, Latoya Leach; and a host of other relatives and friends.
