Ms. Deborah Fortune Snively, age 70, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Transitions LifeCare of Raleigh.

Gathering of Family and Friends, 1 PM, Saturday, December 30, 2023, Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home. Visitation, 12:30 to 1 PM, prior to the Gathering.

Ms. Snively was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Fortune; father, Joe Fortune Sr.; son, Leonard W. Snively Jr.; a brother, Joe Fortune Jr.; a sister, Evelyn Fortune and a sister, Patricia Williams.

Survivors; former husband, Leonard W. Snively Sr.; children, Theresa Keels (Shawn Keels Sr.) of Raleigh and Michelle Snively of Mexico City, Mexico; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Bobby McElwin of Victorville, CA; and Johnny Fortune (Karyn) of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
