Ms. Carla Massenburg, age 61, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, October 18, 2024, at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 5410 Louisburg Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Dr. Ronald E. Avery, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Public viewing, Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; children, Desiree Nichol Massenburg, Brandyss Jones (Travis), and Kandyss Massenburg; 4 grandchildren; mother, Marie Hicks Bobbitt; siblings, Wanda Hicks, Cheryl Boddie, Harriet Hicks, Marie Antoinette Knight (Brice) and Audrey Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including her former spouse, David Massenburg and her grand-dog, Bella.  

The family will receive friends at 3604 Iron Sight Court, Raleigh.
