Funeral, 1 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Steven L Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, NC. Minister Ida Short, Officiating. Visitation, 12:30 - 1 PM prior to the service. Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner. Public viewing, 12 noon to 8 PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the funeral home.

Survivors, son, Rico Brown of Richmond, VA; grandson, Rico Brown, Jr. of Shawnee, KS; brothers, Readdy Brown, Jr. and Simmie Brown both of Raleigh; nieces, Kaliah Perry and Natasha Brown-Harris  both of Raleigh and a host of other relatives and friends.
