Mrs. Tara Denise Saunders Griffin, age 50, of Raleigh, departed this life on  Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Transitions LifeCare of Wake County.

Funeral, 1 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Christian Faith Baptist Church, 509 Hilltop Drive, Raleigh. Visitation, 12:30 PM to 1 PM, prior to the service. The Rev. Keith A. Darlington, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. Public Viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Monday, November 20, 2023, at the funeral home.

Survivors; husband, Allen R. Griffin; children, Alicia Saunders, Chris Sunders (Kaiden), Kyaira Griffin, Keanu Shannon, Sarah Fletcher, Akira Griffin, and Amir Griffin; grandchild, Cayden Saunders; siblings, Sean L. Saunders (Tyshineak), Samuel Justice, Ta-letta Bryant, Taneisha Banks, Kanya Lemon-Briggs (Steve); and a host of other relatives and friends including her nieces, Seanna Saunders and Tameka Birdsong.
