Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, November 15, 2024, at St. Paul AME Church, 402 W. Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC.  The Rev. Dr. Larry D. McDonald, Sr., Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner, NC.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home. 

Survivors; children, Terry Howard (Sandra) of Toano, VA, Darrin Howard (Sheri) of Omaha, NE and Jason Howard (Shawanda) of Hillsborough, NC; 17 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Dorris B. Hawkins (Clevester) of Clayton, NC, Earl H. Brown III (Alicia) and Reginald Brown both of Omaha, NE; daughter-in-law, Lisa Pettiway of Zebulon, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
