Mrs. Minnie Ann Powell, age 87, of Raleigh, departed this life on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Funeral, 2 PM, Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 10720 Falls of the Neuse Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. Anthony Bailey, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2 PM, Sunday, prior to the service.  Interment, Church Cemetery.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the funeral home,  

Survivors; sons, Leon Powell Sr. (Sylvia) and Dennis Powell (Adrianne); 10 grandchildren; Christopher Powell, Alicia Powell, Dionisio Powell Sr., Yestantis Dobson, Brittany Aguire, Alyson Powell, Leon Powell Jr., DeAndrea Powell, Will and Rachel;special nieces, Theresa Hall and Gwen Bost Kirksey; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 4421 Kentwell Place, Raleigh.
