Mrs. Mary Powell Baker, age 99, of Smithfield, departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Memorial Service, 11 AM, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor of Poplar Springs Christian Church, Raleigh, Officiating.  

Survivors; nieces, Alfreda Whitaker and Juanita Grimoni; great nieces, Dr. Vanessa Perry (Gilles Yvo Seho), Sylvia Perry, Andrea Williams (Larry), Sharon Avery; Dawn Wallace (Thanh) and Crystal B. Yeager (Martin); nephew, Gerald Perry (Colette); and a host of great great nieces, nephew and friends.
