Mrs. Mary Lois Watson, age 85, of Wendell, departed this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, October 3, 2025, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  Bishop Derrell Davis, Pastor of the Glorious Church of Garner, Officiating.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner.  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; son, Lucian P. Black (Cassandra); 3 grandsons, Chauncey Black, Lucian Perez-Preston, Lucian P. Black II; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leola B. McKinley (William), Willie G. Dailey, and Leon Black Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 612 Juno Court, Raleigh.
