Mrs. Mary Alice Jervay Thatch

Mrs. Mary Alice Jervay Thatch, age 78, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.

Funeral, 1 PM, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, Good Hope Baptist Church, 4209 Smithfield Road, Knightdale.  The Rev. Dr. Anthony Hinton, Associate Minister at Good Hope, Eulogist.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at the funeral home.  The family will be present from 6 PM until 8 PM.  The wake will be on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until 1 PM, prior to the service.  

Mrs. Thatch was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Allen.  

Survivors; husband, The Rev. John L. Thatch of the home; daughters, Robin Thatch Johnson of the home; Shawn J. Thatch of Wilmington and Johanna Thatch-Briggs (DeShon) of Raleigh; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
