Mrs. Margaret B. Alexander

Mrs. Margaret  B. Alexander, age 89, of Rose Hill, departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2023.

Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, August 25, 2023 at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  

Funeral, 11 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023, New Christian Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 NC-11, Rose Hill, NC.  Visitation, 10 - 11 AM, prior to the service.  The family will be present from 10:30 to 11 AM. 

A final service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, New Canaan Baptist Church, 2826 Bladensburg Rd. NE, Washington, DC.  Interment, Maryland National Memorial Park, 13300 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel, MD.  The family will be present at 10 AM to receive friends.   

Survivors; sons, Rev. Alexis Alonzo Alexander and Aundra B. Alexander; grandchildren, Juan McCoy and Robert McCoy; siblings, Alberta Boykins, Mildred Brinson (Roman Lee), Doris Cox, Lucinda Hill (Robert) and Isaac Batts (Ethel) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 812 E. Main St., Rose Hill.
