Mrs. Marcile Woodland Nelson, age 85, of Louisburg, formerly of Greenville, departed this life on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
Funeral, 11 AM, Monday, December 4, 2023, at Wells Chapel Church of God in Christ, 1585 Allen Road, Greenville. Superintendent Austin B. Parker Sr., Officiating. Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service. Interment, Homestead Memorial Gardens, 4361 E. 10th Street, Greenville.
Survivors; siblings, Betty Picott, Curtis Woodland, Ivy Goodwin (Alvin), Jessie Mae Hatchel, Joan Thompson and Joanne Scott; and a host of other relatives and friends, including a special nephew, James Thompson and his wife, Lisa.
