Mrs. Mae Helen Rogers Smith, age 89, of Raleigh, departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

Funeral, 2 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2 PM, prior to the service.  Interment, Church Cemetery.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the funeral home. 

She was preceded in death by; her husbands, Ernest Clark and Al Smith and a daughter, Jocelyn Ockletree as well as her brother, Nathaniel Sapp

Survivors; children, Linda King (Jerry), Carl Clark (Annette), Brenda Jones, Priscilla Clark, Ernestine Clark and Ernest Clark; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Pearlie Rogers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
