Mrs. Katina Sherell Thompson Lucas, age 48, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Celebration of Life, 1 PM, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Miracle Temple Family Fellowship, 1210 Huss Street, Lakeview, SC.  Bishop Robert Lee Roundtree, Pastor.  Bishop Ronald Wayne Sharpe, Powerhouse Church of Jesus Christ, Raleigh, Eulogist.   Interment, Fresh Beginnings Christian Center Cemetery, 2220 Highway 9 West, Dillon, SC.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1 PM, on Tuesday, prior to the service at the Church. 

Survivors: husband, Elder Ronald G. Lucas Jr.; children, Cyler David Lucas and Alyssah LeAnne Lucas; step-daughter, Elese Yvonne Lucas; stepson Julian Hackett-Rogers; parents, Albert and Lucille Williams Thompson; siblings, Melissa Rowland ("Tony"), Laurie Mearite, Peggy Johnson (Billy) and Kevin Thompson (Sheila); mother and father-in-law, Malcine and Ronald G. Lucas Sr.; brother-in-law, Ronelle "Chuck" Matthews; sister-in-law, Dana Lucas; brother-in-law, Derek Lucas (Nikki); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
