Mrs. Josephine Estelle Dowd McCullers, age 82, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Funeral, 1 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. J. Vincent Terry Sr., Pastor. The Rev. Dr. Joseph R. Rogers Sr., Officiating. Visitation, 12:30 PM to 1 PM, prior to the service. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery, 120 Prospect Avenue, Raleigh. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Monday, December 8, 2025, at the funeral home.
Survivors; children, Pamela Yates, Ricardo McCullers (Arlene), James M. McCullers (Latrice), Ursula McCullers and Deidre McCullers; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Dowd Cassidy Watkins (James); aunts, Dorothy B. Henderson and Edith B. Vandergriff (William); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving friends at 1114 Parker Street, Raleigh.
