Mrs. Joan Kaye Hinton Antoine, age 74, of Salisbury, formerly of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. J. Vincent Terry Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Interment, O'Neal Revival Tabernacle Cemetery, 500 Richardson Road, Zebulon. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, June 12, 2026, the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lavette Hinton. Her survivors include; her children, Shan-na Z. Hinton and Montae T. Hinton; siblings, Johnny Ray Hinton, Gregory T. Hinton, Linda Pearson, Eric Cooley (Gloria), Angela Cooley-Hale (Roy), Tobias Cooley Sr. (Delbra), and Wallace Cooley Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
