Mrs. Jessie Pearl McCullers Evans, age 86, of Raleigh, departed this life on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Pruitt Healthcare of Raleigh.
Funeral, 11 AM, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service. Interment, Poplar Springs Church Cemetery. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, January 12, 2024, at the funeral home.
Survivors; children, Christopher Holloway (Charlotte), Deborah Parker, Minister Sandra Clark; 7 grandchildren, Decoa Brown (Jon), Conicka Toney (Keith), Paul Parker (Janay), Trevor Thornton, Shinyah Holloway and Sean Clark; 4 great grandchildren, Kameron, Kyndal, Jamison and Zavier; special cousins, James and Gladys Crowder, Sharon Anderson, Carolyn Williams, Ricky and Dorothy Smith, Doris Ann Smith, Monica Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends including her sister-in-law, Margaret Evans. .
