Mrs. Jeanne Buie Holmes, age 79, of Alexandria, VA, and formerly of Cary, NC, departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Funeral, 11 AM, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Watts Chapel Baptist, 3703 Tryon Road, Raleigh. Public viewing, 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday, May 4, 2006, at the funeral home. Interment, Wake Memorial Park, Cary.
The Ivy Beyond the Wall Ceremony, 10 AM,Tuesday, May 5, 2026, just prior to the service. Visitation with the family will follow then the service will begin at 11 AM.
Jeanne leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 54 years, Charles Holmes; a daughter, Rachelle Holmes Perkins (LeVar Perkins); two grandchildren, LeVar Benjamin Perkins, Jr. and Ryann Elizabeth Perkins; a sister, Elizabeth Buckmon; and a host of relatives and dear friends.
