Mrs. Goldie Frederick Thomas, age 60, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at WakeMed, Cary. 

Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor.  Pastor Willie John Johnson, District Elder, Pastor of Holy Tabernacle of Mt. Vernon, NY, Officiating.  Visitation, 11:30 to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Church Cemetery.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, at the funeral home.  

Survivors; children, Akeyia Miller, William Tunley Jr., Damien Jacobs Sr., Brian Frederick (Monquette), Yauneese Smith, Donte' Miller, Da-Ron Jacobs Jr., Teylor Jacobs, LaTahja Jacobs; parents, Jerry (Sr.) and Helen Frederick Bailey; 21 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Vivian Bailey Williams, Geraldine Owens, Jerry L. Bailey Jr. (Angela), Thomas Bailey, Daphne Jimenez (Marino), Tiffaney Sommerville (Tyson), Jeffrey L. Bailey, Ricky Smith, Victor Smith (Leslie), Tonya Smith, Tawana Smith (Steven), Keisha Smith (Anthony), James Pee and Barbara Ann Faison; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Odean R. Thomas Sr.
