Mrs. Georgia Bass Evans, age 82, of Raleigh, departed this life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. 

Funeral, 10 AM, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Raleigh.  The Rev. Dr. J. Vincent Terry Sr., Pastor, Officiating.  Entombment, Montlawn Memorial Park.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Monday, October 4, 2021 at the funeral home. 

Survivors; husband, Mack Willard Evans of the home; daughters, Sharon Evans Britten of Raleigh and Georgia Evans Boddie of Wake Forest; sons, Mack Anthony Evans (Elizabeth) of Durham, Steven McKinley Evans of Garner and Bret Willard Evans of Clayton; sisters, Rev. JoAnn B. Roberts (Rev. Warren Roberts) of Bryan, TX and Debora B. Johnson of Raleigh; brother, George Thomas Bass Jr. (Hazel) of Raleigh; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
