Mrs. Florence Louise Dames Ramsey, age 85, of Eastwood Estates, Nassau, Bahamas, departed this life on Friday, September 18, 2020 at WakeMed, Raleigh.  

Funeral, 11 AM, Friday, October 2, 2020, Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 15151 New Bern Avenue.  Visitation, 10 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service.  The family will be present at 10:30.  Interment will take place at Mt. Carey Baptist Church Cemetery in Nassau, Bahamas.  

Survivors; husband, Fred Ramsey of the home; daughters, Marilyn Ramsey Miller (Alex) of Nassau, Bahamas, Fredericka Ramsey Caldwell (Claudis) of Raleigh, Julianne Ramsey Albury (Edward) and Sonia Adderly Bain (Fabian) both of Nassau, Bahamas; son, Barry Ramsey (Tenecia) of Nassau, Bahamas; sisters, Gwendolyn Mills of Hollywood, FL, Elsie Saunders of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Katrina Gardiner, Manet Gibson and Margeritta Knowles Rolle (Morris) all of Nassau, Bahamas; brother, Frederick Kemp (Leothia) of Nassau, Bahamas; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
