Mrs. Ella Louise Miller Carr, age 84, of Raleigh, departed this life on Friday, October 17, 2025.  

Funeral, 12:00 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Officiating.   Interment, 11:00AM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery,1596 E US 74 Hwy. Hamlet, NC. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, October 24, 2025, at the funeral home.  

Survivors; children, Robert L. Carr Jr. (Betty) and Christopher Carr; 2 grandchildren, Danielle Carr and Tori Carr; 1 great grandchildren, Robin Carr; siblings, Olivia Prince, Percy Miller (Dorothy), Kathryn Miller and Walter Miller (Sharon); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including, a stepdaughter, Lisa Squirewell (Amos) and their children, Aaron and Marqus.  

The family will receive friends at 2322 King Malcom Lane, Zebulon.
