Mrs. Cassandra Teresa Herndon Finger

Mrs. Cassandra Teresa Herndon Finger, age 67, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Duke Raleigh Hospital. 

Funeral, 3 PM, Saturday, August 12, 2023, St. Matthew Baptist Church 5410 Louisburg Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Dr. Ronald E. Avery, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 2:30 PM to 3 PM, prior to the service. Interment, Church Cemetery.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, August 11, 2023, at the funeral home. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Steven, a son, Steven “Deonta”  and daughter,  Tiffany F. Banks, sister: Marilyn Johns (William), brothers: Connell Herndon, Ronald Herndon, sisters: Gwen McKnight (Michael), Renee Scarborough (Lynn), six grandchildren and a host of special relatives and friends.
