Mrs. Carrie Davis Samms

Mrs. Carrie Davis Samms, age 101, of Apex, departed this life on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at UNC Rex Nursing Home of Apex.

She was born October 7, 1922 in  Apex North Carolina to Albert and Essie Davis. She was educated in the North Carolina Public School System. She went home to be with the Lord on her 101st  birthday, October 7, 2023. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Stanley Samms. 

Funeral, 12:30 PM, October 13, 2023, at Apex First Baptist Church, 419 South Salem Street, Apex. Visitation, 11:30 PM to 12:30PM, prior to the service. Interment, Justice Cemetery, Apex.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the funeral home.  

She leaves to cherish her memories; two sons; Ruffin Davis III (Delphbro) of Hartford, CT and Ronnie L. Davis Sr. (Lorraine) of Springfield, MA; two sisters, Francis Jones of Riston, VA and  Mary Davis of Springfield, MA; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
