Mrs. Betty Mae Snelling, age 86, of Raleigh, departed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Funeral, 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 908 Suffolk Blvd, Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. G.A. Jones, Jr., Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Faith Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Knightdale. Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the funeral home .

Survivors; husband, James M. Snelling, Jr.; son, Kelvin Snelling; daughters, Annette Moore, Jannette Boykin (Jasper), Suzette Richardson (James); 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
