Mrs. Bernice "Bernie" Smith Jenkins, age 102, of Raleigh, departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Transitions LifeCare of Wake County.
Funeral, 1:30 PM, Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Johnston Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1691 Barber Bill Road, Clayton. The Rev. Brian Floyd, Pastor. The Rev. Dr. Joseph R. Rogers Sr., Eulogist. Visitation, 1 PM to 1 :30 PM, prior to the service. Interment, Raleigh National Cemetery, Raleigh. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the funeral home.
She is survived by; a sister-in-law, Wilmer Smith of Smithfield, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at 45 Bethany Circle, Angier.
