Mr. Willie L. Ruffin, age 89, of Garner, departed this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh.  The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Eulogist  Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, 1530 Creech Road, Garner.  Public viewing, 1 PM to 8 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024 at the funeral home.  

Survivors: daughters, Gwendolyn K. Johnson (Ronnie), Patricia A. Chrisp and Denise R. Thomas all of Garner; sister, Shirley "Sally" Northe of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren, Shalon Maxile (Kenneth), Chiffonda Holloway (Golet), Melinda Dunn (Reginald), Eddie Ruffin, Adrienne Chrisp and Joshua Ruffin; 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
