Mr. Webster Andrew Hamer, age 79, of Raleigh, departed this life on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Public viewing; 12 Noon to 8 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026, Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. 

Survivors; children, Avangela Wiggins (Maylon), Anthon Hamer, April Hamer, Arrick Hamer, Anita Adams (Pete), Amiee Yates (Jermaine), Allen Hamer (Ashley), Aleshea Buckner (Javon), Ashley Hamer, Adam Hamer and Alex Hamer; siblings, Jannett Richardson, Christopher Richardson, Robbie Avery (Charles), Inez Richardson, Bernard Richardson (Portia), Lonnie  Richardson (Maxine), Seneca Surles (Malcolm); 37 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 5420 McCoy Road and 901 Weston Street.
