Mr. Rufus D. Williams Sr., age 80, of Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
Funeral, 11 AM, Monday, July 20, 2026, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. J. Vincent Terry Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service. Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the funeral home, with the family present from 3 PM to 6 PM. The family will only be receiving friends at the funeral home and only during that time frame.
Survivors; wife, Christine Burrell Williams; son, Rufus D. "Dee" Williams Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends
