Mr. Roy McCoy Garner, age 77, of Smithfield, departed this life on Friday, October 13, 2023.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, October 20, 2023, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery, Raleigh. Public viewing, 2 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the funeral home.

Survivors; wife, Dorothy Clay Garner; daughter, Royletta Foster; 1 grandson; siblings, Josie Burt (Joseph), Lucy Johnson, Teresa Garner; Moses Garner Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 2469 Derby Dr., Raleigh.
