Mr. Robert "Preacher" Melvin Howard Sr. Obituary

Mr. Robert "Preacher" Melvin Howard, Sr., age 85, of Raleigh, departed this life on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Smith Temple Baptist Church, 322 South East Street, Raleigh. The Rev. Oscar Holland, Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 11:15 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the Service. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, March 22, 2024 at the funeral home.

Survivors; children, Billy Howard (Benita) and Robert M. Howard Jr. (Tonjia); sister, Gwen Williams; brothers, Charles Howard (Roberta) and Clarence Williams; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 2700 Glover Road, Durham.
