Mr. Nelson E. Carter, age 62, of 3213 Lake Woodard Drive, Raleigh, departed this life on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Laurels of Forest Glenn, Garner.

Graveside, 11 AM, Thursday, July 9, 2020, Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh. The Rev. Marion B. Robinson, Pastor, St. Matthew AME Church, Raleigh, Officiating.

Survivors; daughters, Shanelle Carter of Gulfport, MS and Olivia Moore of Raleigh; sisters, Ann Carter-Hooker (William) and Linder Carter-Gibson both of Raleigh and Norma Drummond (Cleveland) of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Michael Carter of Sanford and William Carter (Sonnia) of Raleigh; 3 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends, including Olivia's mother, Vickie Moore of Raleigh.

The family is not accepting visitors at this time due to COVID-19.
