Funeral, 1 PM, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Springfield Baptist Church, 4309 Auburn Knightdale Road, Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. Kevin D. Sturdivant, Pastor, Eulogist. Interment, Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation, 12 Noon to 1PM, prior to the service with the family arriving at 12:30. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 7 PM, Monday, May 19, 2025, at the funeral home
Survivors: wife, Derevana Robinson Leach; children, Mortimer D. Leach (Teyonna), Montrice D. Leach (Tenisha), Martinez D. Leach; Mantrille D. Leach (Kelsey); 9 grandchildren; siblings, Betsy Bell, Gwendolyn Donaldson, Brent Leach (Marie) and Derrick Leach (Angela); sisters-in-law, Waynetta Robinson and Matilda Cooper (Christopher) and a host of other relatives and friends, including a very special loving "daughter," Telia Williams McCullers and her 5 children whom "Buddy" called his grandchildren.
