Mr. Michael Dewayne Powell, age 64, of Garner, departed this life on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Funeral, 11 AM, Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh. Bishop Staccato Powell, Officiating. Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, Thursday, prior to the service. Interment, Rand Street Christian Church Cemetery, 213 Haywood Street, Garner. Public viewing, 12 noon to 8 PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the funeral home.

Survivors; step daughter, Leah Rogers; 2 step grandchildren; siblings, Bernita Cozette Jordan, Reginald Bernard Powell, Gregory Darnell Powell (Agnes) and Daryl Winfred Powell (Sonja); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
