Mr. Marrio “Rio” Darnell Williams, age 53, of Raleigh, departed this life on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Funeral, 3 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh.  Visitation, 2:30 to 3 PM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Friday, August 12, 2022, at the funeral home. 

Survivors; three sons, Kamayu Middleton, Brandon Lackey and Tyler Theirse; mother, Annie Hunter (Charles Sr.) of Raleigh; sisters, Laveda M. Williams of Raleigh, Keonka Williams and Yashica Williams both of GA; brother, Charles Hunter Jr. of Blacksburg, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, including his best friend and life-long partner, Shantel Williams of GA. 

The family will receive friends at 700 Barksdale Dr., Raleigh.
