Mr. Marcus Avery Brinson, age 56, of 5407 Wallace Martin Way, Raleigh, departed this life on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Funeral, 2PM, Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Steven L. Lyons Funeral Home, 1515 New Bern Avenue.  Visitation, 1:30 to 2 PM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 2 PM to 8 PM, Friday, May 7, 2021 at the funeral home.

Mr. Brinson was predeceased by his father, Willie Brinson. Left to cherish his memories; wife, Regena Jackson of the home; mother, Mercedes Greggs Governor (“Dad” Fred) of Kissimmee, FL; daughters, Marquissa Y. Brinson of Coca, FL, Charisse Stevens of Atlanta, GA, and Paige Davis of Raleigh, NC; sons, Gabriel Brinson, Avery Brinson, Marcus Avery Brinson, Jr., Coolidge Brinson, Kamiron Singletary and Martel Stevens all of Cocoa, FL; sisters, Joyce Chambers (Walton) of Orlando, FL, Vaneral Thompson (Alphonso) of Hilliard, FL, Kathyen Brinson and Jeanean Brinson both of Kissimmee, FL; brothers, Johnnie Burch of Deland FL, Clarence Griffin of Gainesville FL, Victor Williams of Jacksonville FL, James Allen Edmond and Blaine Brinson both of Kissimmee FL; twenty grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sorrowing co-workers and friends.
