Mr. Linwood Eugene Phillips, age 48, of Raleigh, departed this life on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Memorial Service, 1 PM, Friday, April 24, 2026, at The Fountain of Raleigh Fellowship, 9621 Six Forks Road, The Rev. Paul L. Anderson, Pastor, Officiating. Family to receive friends, 12:30 PM to 1 PM prior to the service.
There will also be a Memorial Service at 1 PM on Friday, April, 17, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 901 East Godbold Street, Marion, SC 29571.
Linwood was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Tomlin Knowlin.
Survivors; fiancé, Samantha Owen; three sons, William Phillips, Wylder Phillips and Waylin Phillips; one daughter, Winifred Phillips; adoptive parents, James and Marsha Sherrod; siblings, Kevin Tomlin (Willona), Bandi Foxworth, and Jeremy Phillips; father, Norman Pee; paternal siblings, Regina Williamson, Keisha Davis, Crystal Tart, Deon Kelly, and Tracy Graves; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Linwood Eugene Phillips Legacy Scholarship Fund and sent to 6912 Glendower Road, Raleigh, NC 27613
