Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, May 10, 2024, at Maple Temple UCC, 304 Dacian Road, Raleigh. The Rev. K. Ray Hill, Pastor/Teacher, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the funeral home.
Survivors: wife, Carolyn Jones Highsmith; sons, Derrick C. Highsmith and Lindsay Charles Highsmith; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a host of siblings and their families, other relatives and friends.
