Mr. Lester Jay Durant, 87, of Garner, NC, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at home.

Funeral, 12 PM, Friday, June 21, 2024, at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh, NC. The Rev. Charles W. Brooks, Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 11:00 AM to 12 PM, Friday, prior to the service.  Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner.  Public viewing, 2 PM to 6 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the funeral home,  

Survivors; daughters, Wanda Durant of the home and Angela Durant Mason of Durham, NC; sister, Marzella D. Worley of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
