Mr. Leroi C. Brashears, Jr., age 71, of Chapel Hill, departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at UNC Hospitals.  

Funeral, 11 AM, Monday, December 30, 2024, at St. Paul AME Church, 101 N. Merritt Mill Road, Chapel Hill.  The Rev. Dr. Michael A. Cousin Sr., Pastor, Officiating.  Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, prior to the service.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 4 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2024, Jones Funeral Home, 112 S. Graham Street, Chapel Hill  

Survivors; wife, Anna L. Richards of the home; children, Jamalia Brashears, Indianapolis, IN, Spencer Brashears of Arlington, VA and Taylor Brashears of Atlanta, GA; sister, Tracye Bolton of Kansas City, MO; uncle and aunt, Dr. Robert and Myrtle Brown of Rockville, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
