Mr. Joshua L. Perry Jr., age 92, of Zebulon, departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Transitions LifeCare (Hospice) of Wake County.

Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, September 20, 2024, at Riley Hill Baptist Church, 6025 Riley Hill Road, Wendell.  The Rev. Dr. Alphonso Fullwood, Pastor.  The Rev. Kenneth Scott, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 AM to 12 Noon, prior to the service.  Interment, Church Cemetery.  Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the funeral home with the family present from 6 PM to 8 PM.  

Survivors; daughters, Catherine High (Rev. Aloysius High) of Zebulon, NC, Conswella Jones of Wendell, NC, Cynthia McKnight of Hampton, VA; son, Carlton B. Hockaday (Angela) of Garner, NC; daughter-in-law, Audrey Perry of Zebulon, NC; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Wanda D. Poole and Wave Simmons both of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Romell Perry of Wendell, NC, Barbara Fogg of Youngsville, NC and Maggie Fogg of Butner, NC; brother-in-law, The Rev. James R. Fogg (Ramona) of Henderson, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends at 119 Garrett Road, Zebulon on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM and on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM, at the funeral home.
